Sarah Hart Grigsby is the Oklahoma Project Manager of Pizza for the Homeless 2008. Pizza for the Homeless is a charity event created by eyeBLINK. Pizza for the Homeless aims to bring happiness to people who depend on homeless shelters for sustenance, while underscoring the need to eradicate hunger in America. The guests at homeless shelters are given a pizza party and eyeBLINK volunteer musicians also provide musical entertainment to create a truly joyful ambience! Food for the Body and Food for the Soul! eyeBLINK is committed to ensuring at least one day filled with happiness and relief from strife for those who are homeless or hungry in major cities throughout the United States. Last year, in it's first year, Pizza for the Homeless gave out 5000 slices, in 5 days, to 5 homeless shelters in New York City. In 2008, it expands to 4 states, including Oklahoma. Grigsby has previously volunteered at the Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless and fell in love with the compassionate and determined people inhabiting the space. All the proceeds from the artwork you buy from this section will be donated to eyeBLINK's Pizza for the Homeless. All of the artwork in this section has been minimally priced to raise money for the homeless.
